Negotiations

Didn't Dave say that he wants negotiations to start in April, and have everything in place by summer? That is a much quicker time table than starting formal negotiations in August. Look out!

I could have sworn someone told me the big bad wolf was hanging out in France these days.

A question for 141M guys. Back a couple years when you fellas voted down a proposal from the company I remember reading in the papers that the IAM said you were confused. My question is, Was this contracting out/airbus issue the reason the IAM said you were confused? Or to put another way, was that language the reason why your company's proposal was voted down?

As I remember: We were told voting to accept assured that we kept our scope, therefore if we want a job vote again. As we all see, that didn't matter anyway.

I also remember a certain captain that writes on this forum saying we better vote again to accept to keep our scope. Now that same poster is saying it doesn’t matter what the IAM does. Funny how things change.
