Called Dave's propaganda line today and he wants formal negotiations with all unions to start by August.

Sorry the IAM won't be there!

Why is it what DAVE always wants?

I think you should take his blood money and move on while he's ahead.

...and if the IAM shows up then the IAM won't be anywhere.

--I give the IAM credit for being hard line on this issue. You can not negotiate with people who do not keep their word.

How true since the company doesn't abide by any contracts anyhow.

Good! Now, please stop telling us how we MUST let the company take more of our blood, and let us die in peace and dignity. I don’t want to go into eternity hearing, YOU MUST.. YOU MUST..YOU MUST.. YOU MUST…

Sure. With ALPA giving what they have been giving of late, the best possible move that the IAM-M leadership could take would be to tell Dave and Dave to go back and beat on ALPA some more.

It may not matter if the IAM negotiates or not.

Ahhh, finally another reference to the IAM's "painful" clause.

Yes, we know it won't matter if we give back or not. The company is in a position to make lots of money with our contract just the way it is!

I think he may be running out of luck....

I think it was a dreadful move.... to announce PAY INCREASES to managers and administrative staff, at the same time, he is asking for any kind of concession from a union member....

I think if the company is flush enough for raises, the company must be improving on its bottom line...and loads are improving....

I saw a posting that he is leaving next week, on a trip to Paris, too ...
