It's a terrible shame that the US headquarters staff in Washington did not get to participate in a great team building event like this one in the HP headquarters staff in Phoenix.

Whoever did the scheduling for this event messed up big time. The CCY employees that are going to be forced to move all the way across the country for the "new US Airways" (or quit) felt totally slighted by not having a visit to DC.

I though it was pasing through tomorrow on flight duty with extended sits.
Someone posted on the U thread the full schedule for the rest of August. It is supposed to work the shuttle.

The new livery aircraft visited DCA (plus LGA and BOS) several times Thursday and Friday as ship 109 spent 24 hours on the Shuttle in part so that employees in those cities and CCY could see the aircraft. On the first visit to DCA Mr. Parker and Lakefield came out to the airport to greet employees, not sure how big a crowd they had in DCA but on the first of three visits to LGA we had at least 50 employees out on the ramp viewing the new livery in perfect weather.

I like the new livery although I do think it's a bit conservative, but maybe that was the plan. The one thing I would change is how the "US AIRWAYS" looks. I would eliminate the dot between the U and S and use a bolder and slightly larger font for the name. I think that would catch the eye a bit more.

How many do you think will move? Experience says not too many. It's not THAT hard to get a new job in Washington and for reasons not clear to me (20 year resident) people seem to like it here and tend to stay.
