My sources are telling me that a J4J Class for Republic (10 Capts, 10 FOs) will probably not go ahead since nobody at MDA will accept a position there!

Is this correct?

If so, the MDA guys can teach the AAA MEC a thing or two about Solidarity and Trade Unionism. I am amazed that at least one group of pilots has, finally, drawn a line in the sand and stood behind it.

It must be a whole new experience for anyone at CCY to hear 'No' from a group of pilots.

seriously, do you really think it's solidarity? more likely it's such a bitter pill to swallow, no one can keep it down....

All or None!

It is the most unified group I have ever seen. It's finally time to draw the line in the race to the bottom of this profession.

Pilots will scab pilots or anybody else. Soon airlines will be able to make money again once the pilot groups are down to an average topped out pilot making $100k.

yeah, pilot salaries are the only reason any airline loses money.

Forcing the company to follow the contract they have signed, what a concept!! The MDA pilots have actually made me proud to be a part of the profession again.

As far a the pilot salaries post... You obviously dont get it. The 1 time Airways management "talent" retention bonuses alone would pay for the entire MDA pilot group for two years. When I did the calculations I was being very generous on the pilot wages. Let see 300 pilots for two years or a one time bonus? which one do you really think is the problem.

ALL OR NONE!!!

Hey ALPA you might want to take some notes!

What a difference it makes for solidarity when it isn't just the guys on the bottom who are getting f--ked!

Enjoy it while it lasts!

Really, it has nothing to do with junior/senior here at MDA. The senior guys, especially the three who are leading the charge against this mess have nothing to lose by going to Republic. They have been offered their seats, check airman status, and longevity for pay. Nope, this has everything to do with integrity from the #1 spot all the way down to #340 or so with only three line crossing exceptions......

This is only starting to get good, you all will enjoy watching over the next couple weeks.

Good for the MAA pilots!!! Keep it going!!! All 4 One!!! They are all sick and tired of the crap that managment is doing..thats why they will also get no f/a's either. My guess is..NOONE WILL GO.

You mean a combined crew? I man hell... the Republic payrates top out at $77 for a captain... 30 something for an F/O. It's nearly there.

Good to witness actual solidarity in this business!

I just spoke with a MDA crew and they told me that just three SCABS chose to go to Republic. I hope there isn't any shortage of axe handles where they are going.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I find it very amusing how some pilots worry about solidarity at this point of the game. I mean if you were going to stand up don't you think you should have done it a few years ago? And another thing....is these scabs now scabbing the same scabs that scabbed the I.A.M. represented Mechanics back in 1992?
