As soon as everyone hears the word management they automatically assume that they mean the executive suite in CCY. What you fail to realize is that there are thousands of other employees on the MSP that work very hard, just as line employees, and they deserve the same considerations and respect as the contract employees. If all employee groups (excluding fleet service) are scheduled for 2% raises in 2004, why would you not offer the same to MSP, non-contract and clerical? As I said, a 2% raise today (for all employee groups) will just lead to a 6% pay cut tomorrow.Tim Nelson said:That is not correct. Although the mechanics, utility, pilots, and other groups will receive 2% raises this year I believe, the fleet service workers decided to vote and approve a contract that did not incorporate raises until July 2005. I believe this is true, however, I have not seen or had access to a fleet service contract.
At any rate, my gut feeling is that the 2% all other groups will get while fleet service will be left out will be 'noted', should fleet service have to vote again.

Merit increases? For what...operating an unprofitable company? Cheating employees? Destroying morale? Any employee who is even entertaining the idea of more give backs to these goobers out to have his/her head examined.
How nice! It that phrase synonomous with "Union Goon"
Also please provide information to support your assertion that US "Cheated Employees" other than individual grievences?
It seems we have evidence of $212 Million in sick time, a percentage of which can be called abuse, so it raises the question of who's cheating who?
Now we have no idea what comprises the 212 million, so it could be a bogus number or a number using the most generous method of compilation or it could be dead on true.
