Hi
I was Forced early out retiree from AA 2012

Just curious how you guy would vote if a vote were to take place today for just one union.

I would ask over at the AA board But I already know how a vote would turn out,

Good luck

PS

I think the IAM may be a better choice in my opinion
looks like they actually fight for their members in many ways

The IAM has led the industry in concessions, they started the concessions train in 2002 at USAIR and have given concessions at every carrier. Look at how they have handled the UAL agreement, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, cutting IAMNPF benefits, the TWU is clearly the better choice.

Josh

You are lying again

And the unions were required by law to negotiate with the company, they were in bankruptcy.

How many times are you going to lie about this?

Bob Owens posting April 14, 2011 to United Mechanics

“When do you guys get your ballots?

By the way I heard that the IBT was telling you guys that the TWU is only asking for $39/hr at AA and
only 1% would be getting that. Well that's not true.

Guys in high cost cities working nights with 20 years would be topping out at $43.96,(all in-but not CC) the majority, guys in low cost cities working days would be getting $39.83. CC premium would be an addition $2.75 on top of those figures, so a CC on nights in NY or California would be $46.71.

It’s all available at aa.twu.org, Compensation is Article 4. Article 47 has language that we borrowed and
modified from USAIR as far as extended negotiations. Automatic 3% after six months past amendable date and 3% every six months thereafter.

We can’t allow these airlines to jam concessions down our throats in a few months then drag out real
negotiations for years and not give retro, with the NMB allowing talks to drag out on average 3 or more
years we have to put in language to protect ourselves. The "thereafter" would be "industry leading", that was the first time those two words were spoken in nearly four years of negotiations!!

I know that we at AA have the reputation of being the industry leader in concessions, all the way back to the first to accept B-scale in 1983 but some of us are trying to change that and we need your help.

Josh, you're growing extremely old...It seems your only purpose around these parts is to do battle with 700 and bash the IAM. Something just doesn't feel right about  you.

I Strongly disagree

The members GAVE AWAY!

NOT the Union

If you send in Union Members to negotiate you get what he comes back with

Send a Pro Negotiator ie some one that knows how to negotiate and tell him not to comeback with out or hes OUT! and if he gives any thing but the middle finger fire him!

AA/US air any and all airlines are all Family built airlines built by generations of family's.

Crying shame all the benefits our former brothers and sisters fought for are all given back now.

ALL I can say is SHAME ON ALL OF YOU

Learn what a Union is! Fight for what it is!

Fight for your Brother and sisters  Call your selves Union but yet I bet DAM FEW here if ANY have ever held a PICKIT sign for weeks on end or months even... No there all to scarred they might loose there JOB!!!!!

TAKE YOUR JOB!          I HAD a Career!

I remember a picture down at the 514 it was a member standing in front of the Tulsa gate with a Pickit sign in one hand and a Sludge hammer behind his back in the other! NOW THAT'S A UNION BROTHER!

That will NEVER happen again there are just to many so called members in ALL unions falsely identified as Male

That's whats wrong with this whole COUNTRY! keep believing in Political correctness & the race to the BOTTOM!

We don't have a choice at USA, we are out numbered by AA so what they want is what we will get! We need a union no matter who represents us!
