They CAN, and WILL be sued. YOU CAN COUNT ON IT!.

Wonder when? anybody see the guy who made that statement lately for an update?

All:

Read the code a phone. The U pilots are turning their backs on the furloughed guys! No to the furlough insurance plan!

I am furloughed U and have never had to use the "plan", however it was quite comforting to know it was there if I ever needed it.

Disgusted is too tame a word!

Amen....

The only consolidation is that there's over $200,000 in the fund so maybe it will be enough to cover the remaining furloughees who need it till their 18 months eligibility expires.

Typical ALPA, throw the young to the wolves, first Jet for Jobs, then MDA then LOA 91 and now LOA93.

Does it surprise you?

I am getting tired of just singling out ALPA on this. Every union that practices seniority throws it's junior people under the bus. If it weren't true, furloughs would occur through a system of performance reviews. IAM, AFA, CWA, they throw their young to the lions to some degree. Come down off your high horse.

Sounds like someone is bitter because they got laid-off and could not kiss up to management to keep a job.

700-

where do you get this material... I swear your responses are so nonsensical and illogical, it's like you draw them out of a hat!

628AU was employed by US in an IAM represented position, his group was being courted when they were non-union, when the IAM got enough Authorization Cards to hold an election the National Mediation Board (NMB) ruled that they were to be accredited instead on an election. US fought this and lost.

So he now was represented by the IAM and after 9/11 he was abolished and chose the layoff instead of going to PIT.

He hates unions and thinks that if there was no union representation in the department where he worked he would still be employed.

Go through his posts, his distain for unions is evident.

Great to see how the admitted Breaking and Entering and thief adds to the topic.

With your ethics no wonder why this country is so screwed up.

And I have not dumped a lav in over two months, keep trying.

Is it time for a cold one?

I too am extremely disappointed with the results of the vote. I always considered the $30 bucks a month the least we could do for those that lost their jobs. Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of this.

Just another example of why ALPA is the "whats in it for me and the heck with everyone else organization" Cutting off furloughed health benefits, another fine day in union history! Thanks ALPA Gee ya think mgmt might know this and uses it everytime they want something?? ALPA needs an enema, and now!
