Bob,---- Why keep MCI open? First of all, $320mil! Alliance cost A.A.$64 mil.@ year in rent to good ol boy Ross! Over a five year period, that's $320 mil! How much is it going to cost A.A. for MCI in the same time frame? NOTHING, ZERO, NADA!!!!!! Plus $200mil for A.A. to play with for any upgrades that might be needed here! And help with the rent once it starts! As to the age of our workforce, yes it's higher! But then it's also more experianced! We've proven that we can do more with less than Tulsa, or Alliance!!!So don't totally count us out yet! Free Money is vary hard to walk away from! Especially if your as greedy as youall are!!!!!

I dont know what it would cost AA to break its agreement or even what the agreement is at AFW.

Besides closing AFW would likely cost the company more money because of system protection. They have to have a job for anyone with system protection and they have to pay the $12500 plus expenses. There would likely be less systemwide disruption, and things are bad enough already, by closing MCI instead of AFW.

And the experience and productivity thing, it means nothing. Just ask STL.

Bob----$320 MILLIONS!!!$320 MILLIONS!! I don''t clam to have any inside info. on this, but I keep hearing that Fed-Ex, or UPS want Alliance and are willing to pay for the priviled of asumming A.A.''s obligations! So I repeat! Don''t write us off yet!!!!

As for STL,The heavy maintenance, has been slated to close from before the AA/TWA buyout! The old hanger sits right in the middle of one of their new taxi ways, and has been written off years ago! And it hasn''t been anything unexpected! The Hub, now that''s another story!

Oh my! What am I thinking right now?

And what's wrong with being an "Ol Granpa" anyway? I am going to be a Granpa within the next two months and was kinda proud about it. Am I missing something? I was figuring it would be a wonderful Granpa and a real man, that wouldn't leave his family to go work for a greedy corporation that owns a lapdog union, and is probably going Bankrupt soon anyway.

Bob----- I still haven''t got a answeer to this question! Did our CEO tell the Mayor of FT.Worth not to whory, before or after Mayor Barms MCI offer?

I am not 100% sure, but I believe I read that story about Fort Worth being told "not to worry", BEFORE the MCI offer was made.

Why does it matter?

So, once again, back to the original topic. In all of your opinions, is MCI a 'gonner this fall?

How does Letterman say it?

Top Ten Reasons MCI Will Close:

10. Hangars 12 and 14 were built for the SST. It didnt
Fly.

9. More Connie and 707 parts in stores than current
fleet.

8. Model T Utility Trucks should be in a museum not
running bay to bay servicing new generation
aircraft.

7. Rains harder inside than out.

6. Seniority numbers older than my dad.

5. They keep the bay doors closed in July to stay warm.

4. AA doesn't want to listen to just how good Ozark was.

3. 95% of the Old Timers can't get the double click
on a computer mouse down.

2. 100 Handicap Spots is just a bit much.

and the number one reason MCI will close.

1. Tulsa and the TWU want it that Way.
