I think the employees get sick of management threats and Union labor threats

no they wont threaten to do that. But they do threaten to walk out and threaten the jobs of other employees to benifit themselves. I will strike and cry and moan if I do not get what I want. (sounds like management is taking a page out of the Union Book)
AG, you have no idea of what you are talking about, Transportation Workers have to go thru the whole Railway Labor Act until we can strike, our last regular contract took FOUR years to negotiate till we reached the point of being allowed to strike.

Let''s just ignore the rhetoric of management. Ater all we''re busy running an Airline here. Just wait a couple of years and this administration will be gone, and new clowns will be sitting in the Sky Boxes.

Piney Bob...We get upset because every week there is another "Dave Crisis". We gave him what he wanted and now it''s time for him to "walk the walk" and produce the revenue. It seems he must like to make threats about any subject and he expects all to listen. We continue to lose money on many things that could be fixed {PAWOBS}, but the company wants to look good in the DOT Rankings. Wouldn''t you want your bag at the end of the trip or does leaving on time impress you..? We will do the work and much more to make this company come together. Customer satisfaction should come ahead of DOT Rankings..!
Here''s a suggestion management will quickly embrace (afterall, with each time we cry "uncle," were almost there anyway):
Let''s just work as volunteers: no pay, no insurance, nothing. Just come to work for the "pleasure" of it all. Nah, come to think of it, it''s not such a good idea because the company would likely still lose money and eventually ask us to pay them for our efforts.

Read his post and you will know EXACTLY why Siegel & US are playing fast & loose with the contract. Issues brought forth today will not be resolved until the next economic cycle. If Dave times it out right the economy will be heading back into a recession after a few years of growth and the cry will then be, "We can't afford any more or will have to file BK again and this time we aren't going to be so labor friendly"

Bob, Dave wont be with U long enough to threaten the employees with bankruptcy again ... none of us will. Not as long as management keeps making the same bad decisions
