Malaysia Airlines B777-200 Missing

Circumstantial at this point.  They are using logic (always dangerous in the airline business) to proffer a criminal basis for the disappearance.  Just such things as the airplanes transponders being turned off--which as I understand is not an easy task even if you know what you are doing.  And, the lack of any kind of distress call at any time.

theres a rumor that an oil rig person saw the plane go down in flames  and with the chinese satellite it would be where it should be  but i have not been able to find out about that

The transponder is so easy to turn off a young male of middle eastern descent can do it in 2 seconds. Then if that doesn't work there's always a circuit breaker within easy reach. Turning the transponder off doesn't necessarily mean the aircraft can't be seen by primary radar. What seems painfully obvious at this point in time is that they haven't a clue where to look or what information to believe or discount.

How considerate! 100 hours into the search and rescue and some oil rig worker is just now figuring out that that bright flash he saw in the sky was an airplane blowing up! Where's the debris? Where's the ELT ping? Remember, use your seat cushion as a floatation device in case of a water evacuation.

I think a cockpit window "blew out". You only have a few seconds at 35,000 ft. to put your oxygen mask on or it is game over. A 500 mph wind blast in your face along with all the glass shapnel would be one hell of a suprise for the flight crew. THE AUTO PILOT WOULD HAVE DISCONNECTED AND THE PLANE WOULD HAVE STARTED TO WANDER IN THE SKY.
What's the reason(ing) behind that? I would think that'd be when a crew would most want it to still be engaged?
