"After listening to a few dissidents running around the AA property trying their best to disrupt the TWU and its operation, I have come to the conclusion they must not believe in Majority Rule.

For instance they complain about our Local president complying with the wishes of the negotiating committee during the past negotiations---- Majority Rule!

They grumble about the contract which was ratified by the membership---Majority Rule!

And they whine about our Union officials being re-elected by the membership---Majority Rule!

I wonder, if they were unfortunate enough for an election to be called and our membership told them to get lost (which they would), would they then stop this anti-union movement and rejoin the rank and file, or could they ever learn that Majority Rules!

We are all entitled to our own individual opinion, but when it comes to our working conditions and benefits, let us pray that we never get to the point where the majority no longer rules."

Strake,

The majority of AMTs & Related have signed AMFA authorization cards at AA - plain and simple. Take away your dead folks, retirees, Fleet service clerks, Cabin Cleaners, and other assorted ineligible additions to the voter eligibility list. TWU scam artists like yourself have to utilize underhanded tactics such as these to maintain your power. Well enjoy it while you can, cause the time is coming when the TWU finally gets the boot!

They grumble about the contract which was ratified by the membership---Majority Rule!

Try telling that to the people in Tech Services!!! Majority voted down their contract and the twu forced it on them anyways!!!

When Amfa failed the election at united in the early 90's they did not quit. So if you hear an Amfa member say "no vote no peace" you can be assured they are lying. All they did was continue the lies deception and half-truths. All this did was to continued downward spiral of moral!!!

AMFA wannabes have caused more damage to moral than management could only dream of!!!!!

Ever ask yourself why their is such a low participation once Amfa gets in at any airline?

Hey Hulk!!!! Most of your cards were signed in disgust with the concessions not FOR amfa!!! And have you seen the total # of eligible cards from amfa???? Do you think that out of all cards submitted to the NMB, all of them were legit???? Maybe you need to rethink that!!! We all know how many amfa said were submitted, but sometimes it does pays to have connections!!!!

And do you care to comment on the fact that Delle did exactly what you are saying that the TWU did regarding adding folks on the list that "should" be there??? Why is it that when it benefits you (amfa) then it is okay???? HMMMMM??? Something to think about, huh???

If you think that's true TWscrewer than bring your uneducated butt out to the base and lets take a survey. What do you think about a little bet that there are more AMFA supporters at Tulsa now than before the joke of an election you just had ran.

That is a PROUD and BOLD statement.

The member is disgusted with his/her union, so he/she signs a card?

Exactly what kind of a spin is that to protect your worthless union?

I have to roll on the floor and laugh at that one!

LOL yep Decision 2004, we have to laugh at the twu for that one, they even put it in the paper but, thats the twu mentality.

Perhaps the next twu slogan/t-shirt will be, "Disgusted with the twu? What don't you understand about union?" LMAO

Well if thats the case then why wouldnt Little allow the revote?

I know, "The company would have declared bankruptcy".

Funny but everyone forgets how the company rescheduled their final date for filing to allow the Flight Attendants to revote.

If Majority rules then why was the TWU and the company so terrified to have a representational election?

Majority rules is a valid concept as long as the majority is given all the accurate information they need to make an informed decision.

Lets not forget how Little was running around saying that the company may go straight into liquidation if we reject the concessions, the company even denied that was on the horizon.

Lets not forget that the USSR and Nazi Germany held "elections" and claimed to have the consent and support of the majority.

The AMFA authorization cards that I signed were signed for more complex reasons then just disgust. How about the fact that I find it embarrassing to belong to this catch all union. Ever notice how the TWU often refers to AMTs as maintenance workers. It is a subtle slap in the face, as if to play down the difference between the skilled and unskilled. The TWU takes in a fortune in dues from us AMTs, what do we get out of it? How about that stupid commie monthly newsletter. Oh they have the obligatory paragraph or two to placate us somewhere in the middle. Why not a dedicated quality newsletter with issues AMTs find important. I have never been fooled by the AFL-CIO BS. Why is there links to communist web sites off the AFL-CIO website. I have never agreed with liberal left wing politics. You know all that BS about how only democrats are for the working man. Gimme a break with that. Take your diversity and affirmative racism and put it where the sun don't shine as well. Trust me, I could go on and on with why I want the TWU out. Yeah, it was more than just disgust that drove me to sign an AMFA auth card.

oops! :p My bad! I forgot to give proper credit to the person I was quoting when I wrote that post. The above post is an article that was submitted to the "Union Reporter" ( a local 514 newsletter of the day) Issue No. 22-89 dated August 29, 1989 under the heading of "Shop Talk" written by Dave Stewart, Shop 203-9. I wonder what he thought of gays back then?

Oh Dave, I pondered on whether or not I should even respond to you. But I did want to point out ONCE AGAIN how you are so good at putting words in people's mouths and spinning it the way you see fit. I did not say that the disgust was for the TWU. I said the disgust was for the concessions. Big difference. I guess you would have taken the BK route just like your puny leader O.V. huh? Wow, imagine how many would be disgusted then???

Amfa is losing ground and you know it. Your attempt to spin is getting you nowhere Dave.

Hey Dave, think you will like the new supervisor in the CSD shop???? Who you boys gonna call to get you out of that mess huh??? You might need to find a new place to hold your meetings huh??? Mazzios is still neutral!!!!!

Like I said CEO come out to the dock and lets ask some people. Now that would be hard for you but it's the only way your going to know how stupid the statement AMFA is losing ground sounds. NO VOTE  NO PEACE!!!!!
