Let me start of by saying that, YES, this is a good thing to bring in contract work and BEFORE the pro management sorts start to say executives should be rewarded for making these masterful decisions, hold on a minute.
When AA was doing the best, financially, they could've given a rat's ass about actively pursuing contract work and increasing corporate profits, yet they could not be bothered. But the executives were always rewarded handsomely regardless of the decisions they made, bad or good!
So while AMR will announce the management bonus payout, they will do so AFTER the busy holiday season, like they did last year.
