Let me start of by saying that, YES, this is a good thing to bring in contract work and BEFORE the pro management sorts start to say executives should be rewarded for making these masterful decisions, hold on a minute.
When AA was doing the best, financially, they could've given a rat's ass about actively pursuing contract work and increasing corporate profits, yet they could not be bothered. But the executives were always rewarded handsomely regardless of the decisions they made, bad or good!

So while AMR will announce the management bonus payout, they will do so AFTER the busy holiday season, like they did last year.

Even if they do announce bonus payouts, the flawed metric that is used for the plan is stock performance relative to the peer group.

I seriously doubt anyone is looking at ALGT's contract as a reason for the stock price to go up. IIRC, this is simply extending an existing agreement since TUL has already been working ALGT's MD80 fleet.

C'mon Hopeful, you must NOT have been paying STRICT attention to the CNBC "special", a while back, because if you were, you would have noticed the ALGT S-80 tail,in one of the dock/bays in TUL/AFW/DFW(?).

Perhaps my ol' friend, YOU might need a "lens correction" like I recently had. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Actually, the whole year will be one big Christmas present.
January 1, our medical goes up and in April we get a $.46 an hour raise while the greedy executive grinches will share between $200-300 million in bonuses!
