Good question. Currently the 332s are scheduled for phased deliveries in 2009 and 2010. However, US may have negotiated a change as part of an overall new contract with Airbus for the A350XWB. This could possibly include a few accelerated early 332 deliveries - particularly since Airbus is increasing production of this aircraft. It could also include assistance with the acquisition of A340s internally, through Air Canada, or elsewhere. This of course assumes US has actually selected the 350 instead of the 787. We could hear the decision and any details at the April 26th Conference Call to Analysts. Are A330-200s still coming? If so when?
700uw will you ever be one back on the Pay roll at the new usair GROUP??????US only has a LOU for the A350, no definate purchase agreement.
I assume you are referring to the original A350. If so, you are incorrect, US Airways (post merger) has a formal "Purchase Agreement" with Airbus for (20) A350 aircraft. Obviously there is no known contract (yet) for the A350XWB.US only has a LOU for the A350, no definate purchase agreement.
