Here's the deal: I work as an assistant to Tiffin Aviation, a 141 flight school in Nogales Arizona. I've been here since 2007 and enjoy the more "mom and pop" style school we run, rather than other pilot factories that I've attended myself or have worked for in the past. Not only do we own the flight school but we own the FBO, restaurant, and manage the airport.....its a cool place to do your training and work. Located right on the border and not much distraction, so a good place to study in your free time. You'll enjoy the great AZ weather and mounting flying. Housing is included in cost, or I can help you find an apartment nearby as well.
