Wow, i'm sure the creditors at DAL are thanking the Lord the hostile takeover attempt never happened. What would it be worth right now, $7 billion? That's the danger when half of the deal is in volatile company stock. To be fair though, all airline stocks have had a rough going these past few weeks, though not as bad as LCC on a percentile basis. LCC has shaved off nearly $20 per share from its peak right after the "merger" fell thru. Let's be honest, there hasn't been much good news out of Tempe recently.

The rise of LCC stock had a lot to do with the proposed DL deal, and would have remained higher if the deal had gone thru. The rise of any Airline stock when a possible merger is announced is pretty much the norm. Speculation is the name of the game when it comes to the stock market, and airlines are no different. What is DL stock worth today????

Yeah but the rich folks won't invest in anything Trailer Park. They feel like it will be dirty money. They rather donate where it can be a tax write off.
