I never claimed it is, I am saying myself and many other Jews (but apparently not you) identify the culture and traditions as a part of our ethnicity. Again your feelings are your business. You know what they say? Two Jews, three opinions, now I see why we are always stepping on each others toes.

I totally understand the culture, lived it as a kid, my stepfather was from Poland and in the camps, I have been to Israel several times myself.
 
But it always irks me that people try to define it as a nationality, when its a religion.

Myself as well, but I respectfully disagree. Oh well glad we found some common ground, now I can be even more fierce in our discussions about the IAM and US :)

Asian
Hispanic
Never seen Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, etc....
 
Its not a race of people, it is a religion, just like Catholic, Muslim, etc.....

Texan faces hate-crime charges in 'knockout game' case

 
A white Texas man faces federal hate-crime charges in an assault on a 79-year-old black man during a form of the "knockout game," prosecutors said Thursday.
Conrad Alvin Barrett, 27, is charged with violating the federal Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, the Justice Department said. The complaint alleges that Barrett, of Katy, near Houston, attacked the man Nov. 24, recorded the assault on his cellphone and showed the video to others.
The complaint says Barrett made several videos, including one in which he identifies himself and another in which he makes a racial slur. It also says Barrett had been working up to playing the knockout game for about a week.
According to the complaint, Barrett says in the video that "the plan is to see if I were to hit a black person, would this be nationally televised?"

Let's call this what it really is, the result of a liberal agenda. The government refuses to punish criminals adequately. They may charge them with 5 crimes but, the prisoners serve them congruently and not consecutively. Ten to fifteen years for murder one is a joke. Three violent felonies should put anyone away until they drop dead. Criminals have no fear of the law anymore (the ones the government actually enforce that is). That is why we are seeing out of control murder rates in this country. The government needs to start wholesale executing people arrested for murder. What makes this situation even worse is the government punishes you for defending yourself. The government wants you to be totally dependent on them for your personal protection.
 
 
I have issues with the whole concept of a "hate crime", which is nothing more than a blanket term for anyone the government wants to tag as racist to manipulate public opinion.

There is no basis in fact for any of your rant.

Who is "the government"? Please pick and choose who you want. Don't bother with any of the Southern states Sherrifs and prosecutors who are staunch liberals with a "liberal agenda".

You are one deluded individual. Those socialist schools have warped your mind.
 
Damn liberals. Did you hear the one about the liberal Texas judge (work with me. We are in La Li land where anything is possible) who sentenced a 16 year old drunk driver who murdered 4 people to 10 years probation and counciling in a CA rehab center for $400k a year.

No way he went to public school.
