Yeah, kind of like Bush saying one day there is a link between Osama and Iraq and the next day saying there isn't. There is NO greater flip flopper then that "man". And I use that word loosely. ;)

I was told that the A/C was not of the U fleet. So why would U be paid for anything other than Mtc/ and or parts.

The Kerry-Edwards B757-200 is owned and operated by Nations Air..Not USAirways.

U has made token money by providing hangar space and a part or two for this aircraft.but that is no different than U providing as needed services to any other airline in the time of need.

The Kerry B757-200 being in PIT was part of the Kerry plan to announce Senator Edwards as his running mate the following day...so the graphics had to be applied in secrecy somewhere.

U's hangar space in PIT was just a logical choice as opposed the having to pay to reposition the Aircraft back to PIT from another facility after the logos were applied

I'm sure U didn't make any big time money off of this colaboration in the end.

Politcal campaigns are nortorious for not paying their bills in a timely manner or even not at all. ATA used to do a lot of them but had such a hard time collecting that they now refuse the business.
