There you have it then. New configuration...Only 8 FC seats and NO FRIGGING closets on those either.

I saw a 737 in new colors yesterday 1/10 out in front of the CLT hanger could not see the N# so don't know if it was east or west metal looked like a -300. Looked good though.
N505AU arrived at Avborne at MIA on Jan 06 for repaint into the new US Livery with a tentetive complete date of Jan 25. Should be followed by N406US of BoeingBoys last flight fame!
Cheers

I second that......I say we take up a collection to bribe the painter to add "Pacemaker Capt. Jim XXXXXX" below the left front window of 406.
(With the X's being his real last name, not used here for forum decorum.)
Doesn't seperating 737s like you say take away some of the planned "snyergies"? I mean, flying a 737 PHL- DFW- PHX- SLC or something like that would make for better a/c and crew utilization? Just wonderin.....When the 737's go for painting does anyone know if they are seriously planning for any kind of reconfiguration? I mean with all this BS and the airbus why would the 737 be excluded? The only reason for NOT converting ours to the west config would be that they probably wouldn't fly to cross each other. Theirs stay out west and ours go no further than DFW I believe. I can see them turning them into tighter sardine cans then they already are. I have to be honest though the galley up front doesn't house much for the size of it.
We better hope they pull out all the Life Vests. On May 1st The LV's will be apart of all live demos. Every Leg! BTW the West 737's have no Life Vests. So this will not apply to them. When the 737's go for painting does anyone know if they are seriously planning for any kind of reconfiguration? In the east the 737's do equipment subs to Nassau, Freeport, and Montego Bay. We also need life vests since we fly over water routes to and from Florida too.We better hope they pull out all the Life Vests. On May 1st The LV's will be apart of all live demos. Every Leg! I was being sarcastic! In the east the 737's do equipment subs to Nassau, Freeport, and Montego Bay. We also need life vests since we fly over water routes to and from Florida too.
I understand the desire that there be a closet, but they are a bottleneck during boarding. Everyone wants to use it. Close it after first class boarding is mostly complete, then when you open it later, someone sees this and wants to put their things as well.Only 8 FC seats and NO FRIGGING closets on those either.
Not until D-Day...May 1st. So some time to brush up on that skill!ALL US Airways a/c are LV equipped, even the 190.
So wait, now we have to demo the lifevest on EVERY flight? Wow. I better get off Flica and check my CATCREW messages lol... LV demos are funny there is just no way to do the inflation tubes without feeling like Traci Lords
