No, that would be silly. What he should have done is hop on Air Force One, fly to the ranch where Scalia was staying and start performing CPR.

Once in a while? He spends more time on the links and fundraisers then tending to his presidential duties. That partially why you feel disenchanted how thing are going for these past two terms.

Given that Ted Cruz has already vowed that he will filibuster any Obama nominee, I'd like to see him nominate Ted Cruz.  It would be the nearest thing to witnessing a black hole that anyone has ever witnessed.
