US Airways has not yet affirmed any RJ affiliate carrier contract and is attempting to renegotiate air service contracts to obtain cheaper rates.

Patently false.....

One of the first motions US filed in the current BK case sought permission to affirm numerous contracts essential to the day-to-day operation of the airline. Among those contracts were the affiliate express contracts.

Does that mean that US can't still pull a "PIT lease" stunt on the affiliates? Certainly not, but to say that the affiliate contracts haven't been affirmed is false.

NO CHIT, that's how Boeing does business! That's why so many other LCC's are flying the AIRBUS because Boeing rates were WAY TO STEEP. Believe me, everyone at F-9 does or will in time, wish that we'd have taken the 737NG.
