Can't figure out how to get a PDF file on here, so here's the first two paragraphs. The balance is the normal "here's all the wonderful stuff he's done" rhetoric:

Dear Brothers and Siters:

Effective Monday, July 30, 2007 - Joseph (Joe) Gordon, International Representative will assume the full-time role as TWU Air Transport Director replacing Gary Yingst who will take over another assignment once he returns from medical leave this fall.

On behalf of the organization, please provide support for both these staff members as they transition into their new responsibilities.

Interesting indeed.

Where did you get the letter? I don’t see it on any TWU website yet.

I'm signed up to receive odds & ends from the union - send me a pm with your email and I'll ship you the PDF file that came out or I'll pm it to you if I can.

Just confirms the rumor of the sky brawl. I guess you can't be ATD Director if you're not allowed to travel on your biggest airline.

Would any other "assignment" be a demotion/step down from Gary's current position? And if so, was there an explaination for doing so?

I sat in on a few arbitrations with Joe. Seems to be a decent guy.

No place but down for Yingst now. It will be interesting to see if he loses his VP title next. Nothing like a $200,000 a year screwup. Way to go Slugger. 😳

I dunno................they take care of their own pretty well.

His travel privilege has been upgraded from revoked to suspended. Must of cut a deal to save his hyde.

Will he go the way of burchette? They took care of him.

Burchette was only guilty of doing another presidents girl friend. His wife didn’t devoice him over it, so it didn’t get as much attention as Yinst. Time will tell if he’s revived or not.
