question for NYer since it seems that youre well informed. to the best of your knowledge was Sid ever offered the vacant seat on the negotiating committee? if not, would you happen to know the reasoning for not offering the seat to the President of the second largest station in the system.

BTW NYer you didn't answer this mans question? He didn't ask you about "it" whatever you meant by an entity known as "it"

He asked you about a "person/human" named Sid? I'm assuming since looking at Bobs chart the second largest Local in the combined list is MIA by members he must have meant TWU Local 568 "current" President Sidney Jiminez?

I don't think he asked about any "it"

So you want me to look for and find areas that the Company can make changes to our agreements that would provide them more flexibility and then publish and debate it with those here on Forums?

Is this what you're really asking? Seriously?

Perhaps I should also go to the next Negotiating session and sit with Jerry Glass and give him some nice juicy personal ideas too while I'm at it?

And bravo to the Company for their gaining of "significant flexibilities" in the PSA workgroup. But I don't think we're being represented by the CWA/IBT and fully expect our IAM/TWU group will surpass their errors.

Of course. The old "I don't want to give them any ideas" argument.

Of course, we're talking about the process in which the participants know exactly what is in all Their CBA's making it out impossible for you to somehow open their eyes.

Well. Carry on with the current course, you're doing fine second guessing other people's decisions and ideas rather than being out front with your own.

Sigh.

It was not.

Apparently, the 6 seats are spoken for.

MIA was not selected to be on the NC when the original 6 were selected. DFW, SFO, STL, DCA, BOS, LAX.

I heard a "rumor" that Sean Doyle is occupying that 6th seat because no one else had any interest in placing a comfy cushion on it?

Cest La Vie I guess.

I read their agreement when it came out. Put myself in comparable shoes where I am currently, crunched the numbers taking into account both the good and bad of the agreement.

And if it had been on my desk I would have passed it personally.

Is that what you were looking for?

Not to also mention that you seem to be forgetting about 70% of those members had no CBA at all and were vulnerable.

We don't share the same story NYer.

You try so hard to make up issues. jajajaj.

Let's see, the question was: "to the best of your knowledge was Sid ever offered the vacant seat on the negotiating committee?" - - No. it was not.

"...if not, would you happen to know the reasoning for not offering the seat to the President of the second largest station in the system." - - Apparently, the 6 seats are spoken for.

Another attempt to change the subject. jjjaaajajaj. Not working, everyone notices.

I think you're a very isolated inside of the box thinker NYer? Almost Puritanically ridged outside of the Religious definition.

Start trying to expand your mind just a little bit.

So Sid has become an "it" now?

Look I know that he's not the warmest person on the Planet but I still believe he may be a living breathing example of the Homo Sapien species?

A computer would be classified as an "it"

"Everyone"? Who's everyone? Who are you speaking of?

"I don't think outside the box, I think about what I can do with the box."

"I don't think outside the box, I think about what I can do with the box."

Doesn't matter what dimensions you chose to construct your box. Your box will still have the same weight of materials and you'll still be living in it.

I prefer to look outside and find more materials to make a bigger box if I chose to make one at all.

Oh and if our Negotiators are constructing a box NYer, maybe that guy Sid "it" just doesn't fit in there?

Irrelevant. Your response still implied that you think inside a box. That box no matter what you think of doing with it can still only hold the same weight by volume if you have no ability to expand it.

Right?

Perhaps you just don't have the ability to figure out how to expand that box of yours?

You're obsessed with this box.

You're obsessed with this box.

Not at all. But I do find the box to be a very interesting psychological construction. Quite a bit different than how most boxes are put together.

I think the box might be somewhat obsessed with me since I'm the one usually being engaged by "it"

Of course he does, his liberal masters taught him well.

Says the man second guessing other people's decisions and ideas rather than being out front with his own.
