JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet. **New and improved 2.0 version**

Not like a winning underdog rushing a field and tearing down the goal post, but I too hear more and more LAA/TWU clerks wanting to vote. They have been conditioned and have budgeted the AA healthcare cost and more and more do not want that to prevent a vote on benefits that are being offered. 10 holidays at 2.5 is a lot of money. Double in sick time etc...you get the picture. I say some because "many" still see losing deicing as a no no. I will also say that more and more DO NOT want to wait on the mechanics because they feel confident the mechanics still feel we are holding them back. That use to be the theme if you recall...Anyway, no not a overnight flip, but I do hear more voices wanting to take part in the increased benefit package and want something put out there soon to vote on. Funny thing is the IAM pension wasn't even mentioned. I'm not sure many LAA folks even know anything about it or have ever heard of it.

SO PARKER, IF YOU'RE READING, I JUST LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG!!

Some of those voices may get louder if the airline sweetens their proposal one last time.

It's been a couple of years of missed opportunities to better inform the Members about the reality of this process. Hopefully it doesn't cause an emotional response from them and they actually contemplate the substance of any agreement before they vote.

i don't believe aa is guaranteeing 10 paid holidays for everyone - unlike how it used to be. it looks as though aa is offering 8 hrs of straight pay if you are off on any particular holiday?

the option to reject your holiday pay to get an additional 10 days off with pay has excited some people.

- how many people will end up working all 10 holidays to get 2.5xs pay? 10 paid days off is 10 guaranteed paid days.
Yes, I'm not sure Crema, I'll take your word for it. But I'm only relaying what a few more people are stating. I would have to look at it again to get the full details. If they haven't heard of the IAM pension, they probably haven't studied the full details.

Oh no NYer, I'm making it up, only because I want to vote yes on it. Am I getting anyone else to flip...LMAO...or maybe I'm Mr. BILLY JACKSON!

i wouldn't even think of making a deal. the company was mum on wages in their last flyer - directly negotiating with me.

if they are negotiating with me, i'd have just a tiny interest in wages, bonuses and PS. if PS is untouchable, then let's talk a lot more wages and bigger bonuses.

The Association is not going to even think of entertaining it as it stands.

And Crema I’m not interested in selling anymore of our work no matter how much $$CASH$$ they want to offer me.

There’s way too many sub contractors on the property already.

Personally I’ve always thought you would be a yes vote no matter what they wanted to offer IMO.

I swear I’m “REALLY” being completely honest.

And you’re certainly not Billy Jackson. That guy is a complete idiot and you are usually rather smart for the most part.

I’m assuming many of them are Senior guys there in DFW who are thinking about that $65,000 out of here offer?

1995 rises from the ashes?

Company keeps doin videos pounding days off, 2.5 holidays, xtra vacation......it would pass in a second. Most already believe lus health is gone and few really care about clt catering. Hopefully alex sticks with Sito because then we know nothing will be brought out for a vote until april 2019.

Any DOL documentation for that Election yet?

I can assure you that i have many more friends in clt than the very lazy Cltrat. Its been 25 years since ive worked in clt and most of the oldtimers like me and even hit me up when they pass thru ord.

Thats funny, Tim. When I was in CLT for training about a week ago, everyone I talked to either laughed or rolled their eyes when your name came up. With friends like these...

Oh you work for Delta? You can fool me sometimes. I never see you post over there anymore?
What are you Tim? When did I say I was miserable? Are you miserable or something?
I say absolutely. DEAD.

Actually, that was the planned result...
