It bugs me. The Olympics is a unique event. Each country sends it's best to represent it. Why should that be limited to just the athletes? We have some great designers here in the US and we still have a garment industry as far as I am aware. I saw a thing on the news the other day and the priced out the uniform. The amounts were insane. I think it totaled out well over $2k a outfit. I do not pretend to know much about clothing but I don't see why a US designer/manufacture could not have been asked to crank out 500 outfits for the US team to go to the Olympics.


What we have now seems like the same thing when James Bond drove a BMW. That's just wrong in my opinion.
