 Just returned from FLL flying on a ID90 Ticket. Checked in with one the nicest Delta agent and given the famous SSS gate pass. Proceded to the security area and when TSA saw my gate listing sent me to the "Special Line". I had made sure everything metal was in my bag. Afer waiting for twenty minutes it was my turn and I walked through with no alarms. I go to pick up my bag and the TSA agent tells me that I can not touch the bag and procede to the table and have a seat. He then asks me to raise my feet off the ground and wands my feet, no big deal. Then I am asked to stand up and he runs the wand over my body, yes my zipper is made of metal. The TSA agent then advises me had to clear the alarm by running his hand over my sensitive areas meaning my penis and testicles. I have never been so humiliated in my whole life. What is a nonrev suppose to wear a jogging suit and change at the gate? Is this what we all have to look forward to when we nonrev.

ramprover,

Actually I've considered doing just that on several occasions.

The truth is that you can't have a Police State without plenty of Police and the laws to justify their "job". We're almost there, aren't we?

And speaking of police states, Dear Management, until "Travelers" review is accomplished:

I would call and voice my complaints about this individual.
I should think that you should have been asked to go behind a curtain at least.
Make sure you include the date/time and discription of the person who did this.
It is sad when our goverment forgets who the enemy is.

To contact TSA, please call 1-866-289-9673 or
email TellTSA ([email protected])

Rampover,

I may be wrong, but I believe that nice DL agent 'dropped the ball'. You should not have been in that line, unless TSA has changed policy.

I don't work C/S so I don't know...but I am guessing that TSA has to "check" or "process" so many people....and airline employees are "safe targets." We can't raise but so much heck and they know it (remember...don't identify yourself ANYWHERE as being an airline agent....at airports. stores, on phone, on computers, etc). They probably know we gotta take it and have to basically keep quiet....and they get to log "passenger screened on this flight....."

imagine having to go thru that every time you showed up to go to work

EVERY TIME

EVERY TIME

now you would know what it is like to be a flight crew member.

EVERYTIME

ok your clear now go work onboard your aircraft.

i've considered going up to the line, stripping down to a thong with my ID duct-taped to my chest and walking through. It's not so bad anymore on midnight shift but the afternoon was horrible.

Be careful about carrying Rubbers in your pockets. My sister got stopped by Security in Sav. last spring and had to fork them over. They were Banana and cola flavored. After we regained our composure and had walked to the gate. The Security announced over the speaker..."Will the lady who left the banana and cola at security please report back". Boy did she think she was in trouble. The TSA"s got a good laugh as she returned and they handed them back to her and said they wouldn't want her to miss out on a good time".

The American people deserve the TSA. Anyone with the slimmest knowledge of the massive and bloated national government, knew it would be exactly like this. Why do we as freemen, believe the government when they sell us on these bills of goods? Now we have to live with this monster and it will NEVER go away! :(

Welcome to the club. I commute between DFW and CLE and every time I'm given a standby boarding pass I go through the same little dance. Last Tuesday I was going back to DFW and was designated a "selectee". I spent thirty minutes in line waiting to be searched. I woman behind me in line complained to TSA that she was going to miss her flight. TSA just shrugged and told her to complain to management. I wanted to tell her that she was just marginally safer than she was on 9/10/01,but I was afraid that someone from TSA would overhear me and cause me to miss my flight.

Attention: Democrats

Thanks a lot!

Two years ago, the Republicans wanted to keep the private security firms. The Democrats wanted security screeners to be federalized.

Keep that in mind this November.
