WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!! the NC should've never agreed to POS,sellout,BOHICA,cost neutral t/a in the first place. Go talk to Mick if you want to get a Rah! Rah! speech. You'll find him with all of his new friends in GSE and the warehouse! We should have never been saddled with the shame of voting on it! SCREW THE IAM! And yes, that is the sugar coated version.

Toker, whos Mick a new up and coming union leader.lol
And your right, they should have never brought this to us,you dont negotiate to put your brother on the street, you dont vote for pay cuts, you know what I mean.

I hear through the grapevine that the Teamsters tried to get the west guys in there pension plan and were told in no uncertain terms by the company to pound sand it would never happen. Why can the IAM do it.

allstrike, I bet Awa Contract can give you insight on the whole thing, he was in the IBT negotiations.

Why does this vote just make the word CHADS come to mind...

Never in my knowledge with this union has the international verified votes. If its so darn overwhelmingly for this pos whats the hold up spill the beans so I can make travel plans.

The TA vote at my station went 45% yes, 28% no, and 28% did not vote. Breaks down to 62% yes and 38% no. A tragedy for all AMT's.
100% no at my station, unfortunately it is a small station. I hope to hell this didn't get voted in. It was Gargage from the word go.

The International is not certifying the vote, the district is, and that is how 142 operates, same as it was back in 2005.

not only were they trying for the IBT pension plan they had a better Health Ins. plan that would cost us zero out of pocket and the company was against it because they had no control and getting no kick backs. The IBT was fighting for us they worked for us not the company like the IAM.

Toker, whos Mick a new up and coming union leader.lol

In the first us Air bankruptcy the IAM tried to get the retirement and the medical ins. With the cost to the company going into your hourly rate. But Glass and Hemmeningway said NO. They wanted the self insured. They make money on it.( THE COMPANY.) You then would have paid for what YOU wanted.

We are now in the same boat... And it is sinking fast!

Now we can pull together and focus on more important issues. What pray tell was more important than this vote that affected our lives for the next 4 to 7 years?

In my opinion we should have listened to the west guys...That is obvious!

But then again it was hard to make an informed decision when the lies were flying fast and furious and we were stuck in the middle trying to decipher truth fom fiction. The only lies were coming from the IAM and look where we are today!

I am truly sorry I voted for IAM representation, I thought that the dictators I knew were a better choice than the ones I did not know. That has to rate as one of the lamest excuses I have heard in my life!

History will tell us if we made the right choice. History was made on 3 April when this was voted upon. In the meantime most of us are here for the long haul and will make the best of what we have. You now have NO CHOICE, but to make the best of what we have.

It does hurt when you realize that the people you trusted looked out for themselves and their organization more than us that pay their salaries.
How long have you been in the aviation field, did you ever take off the hearing protection? Who did you expect to look after your intrest, the company, the union? That is your responsibility! Sounds like You didn't take the time or effort to get enough information to make an informed decision.

Here we go with Frank again,Why does it all lead back to Franks ###. No group should be treated this way.Mick should have said,Hey pay me this much every month and Ill make sure your Jobs are safe.( for this much ILL make sure your store windows and doors dont get busted,a little more for fire insurance though. This may even fall under the company's harassment policy.
Promises during votes is politics's,threats are Illegal.
