Lets see how many lies in this.

The IAM did not walk out of negoations, I was there, we never reached an agreement and a final offer was handed to us on 1/6/06.

We had just signed two concessionary contracts in the first bankruptcy case and the company outsourced the Airbus overhaul which was a violation of our CBA, there was not use in talking to the company until the airbus dispute was settled and the IAM prevailed, but this proved the company was not to be trusted as they squandered the billions labor all ready saved them and violated the very CBA they agreed to months prior.

All unions had their "ASK" increased due to the chapter 11 filing, not just the IAM. AFA, CWA, IAM and TWU did not reach any tentative agreements before the chapter 11 filing.

Every single person that asked the value of line by line was told.

Gee another letter filled with mistruths and lies.

is that only for the mech and related? also does IAM/Fleet get to participate in the profit sharing plan as well as a 401k? I know at PI we are going to get something but it wont be in the near future according to the letter that was hanging on our wall
 
Profit sharing is for all unionized employees at East.

Yes you get your IAMNPF and the 401k, nothing has changed.

West fleet service will not receive profit sharing as that is prohibited by the TWU contract that is still being administered.
 
Bottom line is you're stuck with that contract until 2010 no matter who's driving the bus. 😱

please don't tell me between puff's that dougie is willing to reopen the contracts and give everybody back their paycuts and vacation..... :lol:

They will tell you anything to bring in $180,000 dollars a month into their organization. Cheap health care, big raises, better sick time use, more holidays. Dougs gonna give it all back because the ibt says so. :shock:

been proven IAM contract will survive....best that will come is what is hashed out between IAM/IBT contracts in a transition agreement.no more,no less.... 😉

:down: Either way (IBT/IAM) nobody will see a pay raise for another 4 to 6 years because of negotiations required change the contracts.
 
Wrong, IAM CBA calls for 1% in 2006 and 2007 and 2% in 2008 and 2009.
