Hello Everyone,
While reading some of the motions and affidavits regarding the US Airways
bankruptcy case this evening, I came across something that every member of AFA and IAM will find absolutely disturbing.
In docket #1217, the name and address of every member of AFA and IAM is
revealed. This is NOT a secure website and anyone with access to a computer
can access this personal information.
According to the US Airways Business Conduct and Ethics booklet, "...employees
have a duty to protect Company information and assets from loss, misuse or
improper disclosure." Furthermore, the booklet states "you are prohibited from
identifying yourself as a Company employee when posting comments on the
Internet or on other on-line services." So, posting personal information by
the company is okay?
See for yourself:
This was filed by an attorney in the employ of US Airways, Sarah Beckett Boehm,
of McGuireWoods LLP. Her email address is: [email protected]
I would encourage you to write Ms. Boehm as well as US Airways CEO Bruce
Lakefield [email protected] and encourage them to remove this
personal information as soon as possible.
