John McCorkle, a 15-year US Airways flight attendant who writes an online newsletter, said in his Tuesday issue that he doesn't put much stock in the filing.

So the media has resorted to quoting John McCorkle!!!!

Is this how people become aviation experts?

Regardless of whether John's view is right or wrong, for a media outlet to quote his "news letter" in any way, shape or form is ridiculous!

Probably because no one else is saying much about this offer.

Jim

ps - for what it's worth, I agree with John on this issue. Sounds a little fishy, but we'll see if it turns into anything.

I love these "secret" deals. Probably just a shill to make it look like U is worth something and so it doesn't appear the the company is a financial pariah. Max 49% ownership/risk with 25% control doesn't sound like a good business decision . . . . especially with this management team at the controls.

Who said anything about the other 75% of controlling stock belonging to the current management group?

Last week I spoke to Bruce Lakefield about Sallijo Freeman and Legal Research's filing in bankruptcy court to potentially provide US Airways its exit financing or to takeover the carrier. Lakefield said the company does not view the filing as legitimate. Lakefield added that the company is "in play" with venture capitalists and RSA interested is providing exit financing.

In addition, there may be a way for the company to fund its own exit financing.

Best regards,

Fund their own exit?

Hello US does not have the cash to exit bankruptcy, that is why they are looking for an investor.

And like Pitbull said, Bronner said if labor sacrfices he will pour more money into US, time for him to put his money where his mouth is.

its all in the game THANKS TO THE IAM

IAM

What advantage would this law firm gain by filing something with the bankruptcy judge that is not legitimate?? That makes no sense!! Don't care if Lakefield did say it!!

A source is a source is a source of course. Anything to fill in the blanks. If "LavMon" were still here they'd probably quote him. BTW, where is "LavMon"?

Hmmm...I didn't realize that part of your contract mandates that you pay the company to work there. <_<

LavMon is M.I.A.
