However, when you have employees struggling the way U's employees are, there is no incentive for the execs to go above and beyond when they can take millions and parachute out of here either way, profit or not.

Are you saying that the execs are merely sadists who get off on inflicting pain and who need nothing more to make themselves complete? Or are you saying that employee suffering garantees profits? Or are you saying that the stock will be worth enough to support million+ dollar cashouts a year from now even if the company is unprofitable? Dave is the only one with more than a million shares -- and even he has to get the price well over $0.50 to clear a million. Most of them have to get it a lot closer to $10 if they hope for that kind of windfall. This isn't a wheel-barrow full of cash -- it's utterly worthless if they can't make something of the company.
