You forgot the fact they are subsidized by American tax dollars and make large contributions to the Democratic party.

In their 2014 Annual Report, PPFA reported seeing over 2.5 million patients in over 4 million clinical visits and performing a total of nearly 9.5 million discrete services including 324,000 abortions. Its combined annual revenue is US$1.3 billion, including approximately US$530 million in government funding such as Medicaid reimbursements.

Planned Parenthood spends money on politics and elections through the Planned Parenthood Action Fund (its federal political action committee), through its Super PAC, and through a variety of related entities. Planned Parenthood endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. In the 2014 election cycle, Planned Parenthood spent US$6,587,100 on contributions to candidates and political parties (overwhelmingly to Democrats) and on independent expenditures.

Explain to me why Americans are funding 530 million a year to an organization that spent 6,587,100 on contributions to Democrats.

Just like Amtrak, this is Democrat money laundering all over again, using tax dollars to fund an entity that makes large contributions to their party.

Using MY tax dollars to provide services I find abhorrent and a tax funded entity endorsing and making contributions advancing political ideals and agendas I do not agree with is about as in my life as you can get. Nice attempt trying to spin though.

That's all fine and good. And it's correct. They do take Medicaid. And unfortunately, that sometimes pays for abortions. Now...let's use the numbers you provided. 12% of their clients apparently get abortions. What do the other 88% get? Any guesses? Does their name give you a clue? A lot of their money comes from a Federal program named "Title X FAMILY PLANNING". Do you know much about it? Because I've only worked with it and within it's rules for the past 20 years. I've worked with our staff thru audits for the past 20 years. Do you know what we have to show them? We have to show them everything we bought with the money that WE got. Do you know what can't be included in any of that, lest you lose the funding? Electricity. Rent. Abortions. Yep. The bulk of the money that the government gives them does NOT pay for abortions...it pays to PREVENT abortions. It pays for women's health AND contraception. Contraception means that you won't have any "oops" babies. And contraception means that you won't have as many abortions.

And it's easy to understand why democrats get most of their money. The Republican battle cry has always been "defund planned parenthood". Why would you want to give money to a group that wants to defund you?

I am sorry that you find contraception abhorrent. If you find abortion to be abhorrent, then you should know that "defunding planned parenthood" is going to result in MORE unwanted pregnancies....and MORE abortions. That's something your side isn't telling you. We are learning that "purity pledges" just don't work well.

So if we defund them so they can't perform abortions, that means that there are going to be a lot of minority babies getting born...because in YOUR words - they love "targeting" them. So if your actions save a bunch of minority babies, then someone is going to need to adopt them. Or someone is going to have to prove that they are INDEED "pro life" and not just "pro fetus" and quit bitching about welfare spending. You don't want your tax money going to pay for abortions - then why not tell your congressman to stop allowing Medicaid to pay for abortions...but not to "defund planned parenthood". Because the cost of contraception is minute compared to the cost of raising a child on the government dime. Or...to put the comparison into words that you understand:
