What's new

Helo Tv Bloopers

at least now, we don't have to start a thread on the "ugliest machine ever". :bleh:

The short-lived "Chopper One" (1974) presented the exploits of two helicopter policemen, Officer Don Burdick (Jim McMullan) and Officer Gil Foley (a young Dirk Benedict, later a star in The A-Team)) of the Western California Police Department (W.C.P.D.). Together, they patrolled the skies from above in a Bell Jetranger helicopter and protected the city of Los Angeles, California from criminals.

"240-Robert" presented the exploits of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office "Emergency Services Detail." The ESD were two deputies (John Bennett Perry and a young Mark Harmon) in a specially equipped four-wheel drive Ford Bronco and another deputy (Joanna Cassidy) in a helicopter.

Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo, (1966-68) uses his brains to alert his best friend, the human Sonny (Garry Pankhurst), whenever anyone hits trouble in the outback area of Warratah National Park.
Set in the Australian bushland of Waratah National Park. Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo, assists ranger Matt Hammond (Ed Devereaux), and flight ranger Jerry King (Tony Bonner).
One of the most well-known tunes in Australia is the theme song to Skippy.
The opening credits to Skippy would have Sonny pull a leaf from a bush, and use it to whistle for Skippy. In reply, Skippy would make a click-click-click sound.

Here's the theme for you guys that want a flashback to the '60s.

In my extensive photo files I found a photo of Ernie Borgnine working on Airwolf, and MacGyver looking as good as ever.
The young boy from Skippy,Garry Pankhurst, was harder to locate. It is believed this diagram should be an accurate presentation of the man today.

With help from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation I was able to track-down the real Skippy.
She is now fully grown and too tame to return to the wilderness.
Here she is, with her present keeper, being just as useful as she always was. We love you, Skippy !!

alright... obviously this stuff hasn't been too much of a challenge for any of you... now come the tough one since i remember almost nothing about this next show... i remember they were a narcotics group (no, not the mod squad), but they also had a 500C and the pilot's name was ham, i believe... short for hamilton?!?!

alright boys and girls, name that show!!!

You stumped me on that one, but let's not forget these young stars............
I'm sure they inspired the kids that grew up to be the fine group of intelligent, caring professionals that run our forest fire fighting services across our great nation.
