Here's a video of one of the first proving runs arriving in Honolulu:
That is in rather poor taste.

It's funny...either laugh at it or get out of the industry.
Oh, well. Maybe it hits some thin-skins too close to home.
It's some of the best editing I've seen though for a Vietnamese or Asian production 😉
NO, it was funnyThat is in rather poor taste.
I stated the Advanced A321, and I mean that sarcastically. 7 1/2 Hours is a long time to make a decision to cancel the flight. How much delay is possible before the crew goes illegal? Aren't the West 757's Ex Eastern's and they were the first ones to. Making them 25 Years old. Planes of that age shouldn't be put on routes where a back up isn't possible. Putting customers up or rerouting them costs money. With fuel so high and the economy taking a crap, maybe it would be wise to hault Hawaii service until the economy improves and the company is better equiped.
that's the West's "christine"
I've been on many, many, delayed Hawaii flights on 908 🙂
even jumped off of HNL when I saw it was 908 and flew to Kona!
come to find out, she was delayed to HNL by 4 hours that day :-D
HP's oldest 757 was built in 1984 and there newest was built in 1985.
You better check your facts.
Current Planes
Aircraft 913 AW MSN # 22207 Line # 35 was delivered to Eastern Airlines 10/29/1984 as 517EA, then to HP on 6/16/1992.
That is the oldest plane 757.
Wrong, SegmentKing. Christine was a 747, not a '75. She was last seen in pieces in the desert....that's the West's "christine"
