all the big guys in the iam including 700w and delldude you guys dont have to worry about loosing your union job because we will need reps you will just change your coat from the iam to the teamsters, so ALL toghether as a happy family need to unite and back the teamsters to be our representatives.

so thats why 700w and delldude pushing IAM the are afraid that IAM will loose and they will have to go work for a living instead of hanging out at the union hall looking important sure you can put on a teamster jacket and hang out at the IBT union hall

I am not a mechanic, and mechanics at US have to be able to work all a/c we fly, they go through training for each a/c type.

What he is saying is that he has no real skills and is a utility worker and the very reason he puts so much time and interest into the IAM so he can continue collecting wages that anywhere else would not be life sustaining.

Guys and gals sitting around the break rooms cleaning for a couple hours a day and making what a college graduate makes is one reason the IAM is in the toilet.

Life is such that without a skill or education good jobs are all but impossible the exception being an IAM member. This unskilled sector of tobacco chewing uneducated wannabes fits right into the IAM. They also drag down the ones who actually have a skill and carry these types via the IAM and their twisted system. I can understand why corporate America wanted to break this insanity cycle, it's too bad it hurt the skilled and educated along the way.

My daddy taught me to either learn a trade or go to college where the IAM teaches to feed bubba and everything your daddy taught you was a lie.

Nope, I said I work under the Mechanic and Related Contract, not Fleet Service.

And Cal, if you were still at US you would know the cleaning has been outsourced since the end of March.

And if you want to throw stones, what about when mechanics were getting paid to be tug slugs?
