Just heard on the Dallas news that gas prices to stay at or above $3/gal for some time. I turned the TV on too late to get the guy's name, but they were interviewing an ExxonMobil honcho. He stated gas would be at $3/gal or above for some time. Rationale: even though refineries sustained minimal damage in hurricanes, they had been partially or wholly shut down in anticipation of the storms. Takes weeks to get one back up to full speed.
If gas is at $3, jet fuel will be above $2.00. Yikes!
