From Now On, Passengers Can't Complain

And when I said that voting "yes" on a TA is the same as agreeing to it, you said:

...which doesn't matter. You can disagree all you want, but you agreed at the time you were hired that your (collective) vote on a TA constitutes contractual agreement to it. If you voted Yes, you are part of that collective contractually agreeing to it. Saying that you disagree that you were doing that is the same thing as signing a contract and then saying after the fact that you didn't agree to it. You did.

And technically, you are correct. But ... oh, never mind ...

Look, I get that it's a powerless feeling to have an avoid/avoid decision to make. But they're decisions too...just not the fun ones.

Because seniority is the crack cocaine of the airline industry.

Broken promises will be the demise of the industry (as we ‘knew’ it) as well!!!

When I hired on at the ‘Lazy U’, my skill sets and experience were greatly desired by ‘The Company’ and the ‘promise’ of benefits, retirement, health care, and etc… were the reasons most of us stayed in these (now) ‘$hit holes’!!!

After hiring on here at the ‘Lazy U’’, and after the ‘Hi my name is Fred’ intro’s, it was ‘what branch did you serve in’?
90% of the mechanic class and craft were hired from the military and much of this ‘idealism’ was transferred to ‘The Company’.
Loyalty and Pride in ‘The Company’ was an important aspect of the job and everyone were ‘kindred’ brothers and sisters with similar life experiences and goals.

You are just ‘another’ mindless capitalist that does not respect nor see the value in another’s work as you ‘deem’ it beneath your ability. I have met many of your ilk in my walk through life and I have always been amazed in how seemingly intelligent you appear but have a lack of basic common sense. It is with your disregard to the ‘human’ calculation that has historically brought the downfall of oligarchy, fascism, socialism, communism, etc… systems as they always forget one side or another ( don’t count ‘democracy’ as one does not {has not} exist {ed}). A ‘true form’ of any model will (and has) fail (ed). True capitalism will also fail as the ‘human’ calculation is irrelevant. We are just seeing the ‘full circle’ once again as people forget the mistakes of the past and repeat them in their arrogance and ‘educated/uneducated’ ignorance.

You really do not understand the demographics of the airline industry do you?

So, how many ‘beans’ are in a 1 quart jar?

Just goes to show how little you know about me. Just because I understand how the system works doesn't mean that I like it or think that it's good.

It would appear that I understand those demographics better than you understand me.
