Folks Prepare For The Worst

though I don't know if I would feel important I sure would feel good if I helped even one person to prepare themselves for a future without uUsairways or even jump ship for a better future.

...

Let me check hmm 29 total posts I would hardly rate that constant let alone 100.000
You havent made me re-evaluate my life, and I would be absolutly floored if this thread makes anyone else re-evalute theirs. (I acutally find the tone of the post to be slight pretentious)

..and I wasnt associating your 29 posts to the 100,000 mark. (not 100) I was simply pointing out that this has been mentioned in quite a few places. 99.9999999% of the time more elquently. It for sure is a very valid point, and I appricaite being reminded of it occationally.

Good luck on changing peoples lives. Hopefully it will be more helpful to others than me.

I am glad you are already prepared but please don't speak for everyone else, let them decide maybe?

By the way 29 posts since 2002 where does constantly fit in?
and you seemed to leave out my other question.. what makes you feel good?

I stand corrected 100,000 not 100.000

Is it just me, or does this guy have the familiar writing style of RATBOY?
Oh, My God Oldie, I was reading this and thinking the very same thing!!! You just freaked me out. I noticed the time he first posted and thought to myself, that if I remember correctly, Ratboy was a later poster to date. WOW!!!!!

By God stop whining and blaming everyone else for the predicament you find yourself in

But isn't that the American Way ??????????????

If you Pay Close attention to people every day.... It's always Someone else or something else that caused whatever happened to whoever it happened to !!!!

While an unpopular response, here it is again: If you are so unhappy, so unmotivated, so hurt, so convinced U will fail...leave now. Beat the rush, if that's how you genuinely feel this will play out. Don't drag down the remaining employees that want U to survive, even with additional concessions. If your resume' is that good, why wait?

There are many U employees, even IAM, AFA, and CWA'ers that are going the extra mile to make U a survivior. It won't be easy but I am confident the naysayers will be proven wrong.

I beleieve Mr. Lakefield will successfully reach agreements that U Labor can ratify and that the airline will not perish.

Just because you may not feel your job is worth saving, there may be 26,000 employees that beg to disagree.
Couldn't have said it better myself! As a CP, I see 2 groups of employees these days:
1. Those who come to work and whine/complain or act like the manager I described in my club thread.
2. Those who are in this for the long haul and want to do well for their customers to make U a survivor.

If you're in group 1, just go now and let everyone else save the company. I try to be optimistic for ya'll but people who aren't happy need to be realistic about their future and do something for themselves! I have friends who are f/a's and I am always riding them to get a plan together. Despite all of his faults, Seigel was correct when he said that "It's better to look for a job while you still have a job"

Think about it...
