Flying Time on 777

Recently I flew from DFW to NRT. The trip took 12.5 hours.

I was just wondering what is the max. flight time for a 777 that American has?

It seemed once we landed in NRT that the aircraft was ready for a turn around in a couple of hours. I guess this is normal, but once the 777 does a roundtrip, does it need to be maintanced or does it go right back out again?

By the way, it was a great flight and one that both my wife and I enjoyed a lot.

DEL-ORD is blocked at 15.55. Yes, NRT does turn them around fairly fast. Same with LHR. Not sure about Maintanence.

Given those F/A "stats", does that mean that those senior ORD mama's only do 2 round trips a month, or how else do they fly the required monthly hours?

2 DEL trips and 1 LHR trip per month.

Just an uneducated guess, but would a "carryover" DEL trip, mean in actuality, that a F/A did 2 + 1/2 trips, with the return happening in the very beginning of the following month ??

That is exactly what it means Bear. It is a pretty senior trip, but not enjoyable so it sometimes goes a little more junior than thought. So instead of someone with a seniority of 23 holding this line, someone in the hundreds and occasionally the 1000's hold the lines!

By the way, ...Where are those "top banana's"(senior Mama's) that are based in DFW/ORD/NYC, flying those 777's to ? I mean what destinations (for them) are "Numero Uno"
