I know. I trust the information here more than I trust the info there if for no other reason I have more experience here.

This is not the first time this happened in the UK. Crew member is arrested, flight cxld, crew member turns out clean. The flight was canceled because someone reported a crew member was intoxicated. Police came on to remove the crew member and was reported he was arrested for failing. People familiar say he was released as he actually blew a 00.00 but in Europe by law you get so many test in a time frame? Needless to say the whole thing is a cluster at the moment.
Seems like they are getting much more aggressive in recent months. The people making the false reports need to be held responsible. This is not the first time this happened in the UK. Crew member is arrested, flight cxld, crew member turns out clean.
Interesting it hasn't hit the British press (yet). The tabloids love this sort of thing. Stay tuned.
Like billing them for the cost of the cancellation? The people making the false reports need to be held responsible.
the crew member could have been acting "odd" due to a variety of reasons including just being stone cold sober and weird.
British accusing someone of acting "odd"? How can they tell?Stone cold sober and weird.
That's my excuse.
So does anyone have any actual facts to report?
