As we all know, in just a little more than a month, jetBlue will be celebrating their 5th anniversary, and the 5th anniversary of their second busiest station, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood. Rumour mill is that jetBlue will be announcing something in South Florida to celebrate the 5th anniversary, including a new route (FLL-OAK?) and the opening of service to Miami/MIA (from JFK and BOS). Anybody know anything more? It is just a rumour, so take it with a grain of salt, but it doesn't seem unrealistic.

E190's will play a significant role in the coming changes at JetBlue. Deployment of E190's into the Short/Med routes will free up A320 aircraft for long operations out of BOS and JFK.
