Why are we asking this question? Seriously. A merger MIGHT happen. It might not. Until it does this question is moot. Even if it does happen I wonder about the question. Most that will answer this poll have no experience with the TWU. A majority of those that do are the ex AWA peeps who have a bad taste with the AWA TWU Local and the way the US/AWA merger was handled. When a merger is announced and the unions make legitimate information available (which of course will bash the other union) people can make a decision. For now this is just asking for people to stick with what we have or go with something that's out of reach. And even worse, what if the poll shows TWU as a favorite? Does that mean a drive should happen to decert IAM? The LAST thing we need right now is for that to happen.

I know who you are, and you know me, and I know you mean no harm, but this is a bad question IMO. What possible logic is there for this question at this time?

last time i checked delta is non union with the exception of the pilots but they are alpa i believe and not the iam. josh 700uw knows what he talking about

Never said he didn't. He is conditioned to defend the IAM at every opportunity when other respectable posters on the AA forum say something in contradiction to his agenda. Plenty of AA FAs blame the IAM for the TWA seniority debacle. I defer to Bob Owens' assessment of the IAM concessions at US in 2002.

Not sure if that is true, yesterday he was advising a TWU represented worker not to ask for a work slow down online...If he only cared about the IAM, he did'nt have to let this person know what AA could do to him..

I suppose it is the IAM's fault that TWU is trying to screw Airtran workers with 1 yr to 4 seniority? forcing a court battle
I don't know what your agenda is but I think you are fos.

Rest assured if this merger happens and I still have a job should the TWU win an election they will never see a dime of mine.I will fill out dues objector paper work the first day.
All those disgruntled AA workers can't be wrong.

Am I missing something, or is this really just a numbers game? There are more AA guys in TWU than we have in IAM, so assuming everyone votes roughly with their existing union, TWU will win this in a walk.
