Fleet Of 245 A/c

I hear lots of talk of "with the IAM win, Dave can now reduce the fleet to 245 because A/C will need to be parked." ETC, ETC. Lets make things clear here...

Can Dave actually do this or does it violate the contract? How would he be able to get away with that?
 
I had heard that 279 is the limit where dave crook keeps the jet at but I have not heard of anything going below unless we went back into Ch. 11 again.

its in several contracts as to a/c limit.
how could they go back into bk with close to 2 billion in the bank and half the us governments money?
 
I asked the same question in another thread (sorry I didn't see this one first). My question is whether the IAM injunction will constitute a "force majeure," enabling the company to park the 10 planes needing checks this year and the 10 needing checks next year. If so, they can lay off more pilots, fa's, etc. as approproiate for 20 aircraft.
