Fa Vf#9 Results

Has anybody out there hear the results of VF#9, how many they got to apply, and what seniority the most junior person it was awarded to was?

WHEW! Just got word that the most JUNIOR person to take VF#9 had a seniority of 4/1/85. Suprised that it went that senior...19yrs! Best of luck to all that were awarded.

Transatlantic: this VF9 was a true given for very senior people. Why would that surprise you?? There was absolutely no reason for any junior people to even look at it. :blink:

I'm currently out on the VF2. What was so appealing about the VF9 to the senior folks and what was the total head count of the VF9?

VF9 only had 40 positions AVL.....and A LOT more than 40 applied. NOTHING was appealing about the VF9. 3 years duration with 2 years of travel.....big whoop. It's just people are so fed up with the daily bs.....they want a way out.

Thanks for the info. Only 40?? Jeez, why bother even offering a furlough for 40 F/As? I mean, they lose that many to attrition in a month or two!

Anyone know the # of FAs retiring this summer. I heard that close to 70 were leaving us.
