McCormick Advisory Group
AMFA is a Subsidiary Of
Kevin McCormick on September 12, 2003 admits his current income from AMFA is $800,000 if successful at organizing AA, McCormicks total per year will be over $1.3 Million!
The McCormick Advisory Group, Inc, also known as MAG, is a Laconia, New Hampshire association management company. According to a Dun & Bradstreet Business Information Report, Kevin F. McCormick founded MAG in 1988. McCormick is the President and Chief Executive of MAG. Carolyn McCormick, probably his wife, is listed as the company’s secretary. She does not work for MAG, but is employed by the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. No other officers are listed. The company is 100% owned by the McCormicks. MAG is a for-profit corporation. According to D&B, The McCormick Group was started in 1988 and was officially incorporated in 1990. (Elsewhere, McCormick has said the business was started in 1987.) It maintains a good credit rating. D&B estimates that the company has 18 employees, including Kevin McCormick. MAG is located in a 5,000 square foot rental space in a building in the
Central business area of Laconia. MAG provides office, management and administrative services to homeowners associations. More recently it has claimed unions as clients.
MAG’s address is 67 Water Street, Laconia, New Hampshire. That is the same mailing address that the so-called Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association uses. It is also the address of the Professional Flight Attendants Association (PFAA), the American Independent Cockpit Alliance (AICA, a group that is attempting to raid the Allied Pilots Association at American Airlines) and Allied Ground Workers (who is attempting to organize the Fleet Service Clerks at US Airways). This is because MAG is the “administrative service provider†for all these organizations. According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, McCormick was a financial analyst at Polaroid who took early retirement at age 30. He moved to Laconia and started MAG as a company that provided services for property association clients. As of 2001 he was said to have 25 property associations as clients.
The Star-Tribune article goes on to detail how McCormick got involved with labor clients. One of his property association clients was also a Delta pilot. The pilot was involved in an unsuccessful attempt to unseat ALPA at Delta with an independent union. He asked for McCormick’s help. Even though the raid was unsuccessful, it brought MAG to the attention of O.V. Delle-Femine. Dell-Femine was the head of AMFA, which at that time represented no one and was for the most part a one-person organization surviving on voluntary contributions. Delle-Femine was busy raiding the IAM at United. Dell-Femine approached McCormick and asked for help according to the Star-Tribune. McCormick is quoted as saying:
None of these start-up groups had any money. I funded it because I believed in what They were doing. If the dues began to flow in, I would ask them to cover my out-of-Pocket expenses.
O.V. Delle-Femine and Kevin McCormick are Employee's of NWA!!
