Equity Update

Probably not a whole lot Weaazz, the only reason I said that is because people that think they will get AMFA at American is nothing more than a pipe dream. The IAM know if they did their pension and medical are gone. The TWU side just want their pre bankruptcy contract back. And as long as AMFA has taken at SWA , with a healthy company , you have pretty much told , they would take forever at American. Heck we even have guys talking about representation change at SWA, but who knows where that would go. That's why I said the only union that would have a snow ball chance in hell, would be the Teamsters. Have a great Sunday! :)

The anology of a snowballs chance in Hell means no chance at all. No different then when the phrase when Pigs fly is also used.

Have a great Sunday as well. :)

Had to block the little weaazle again...…….does this guy have a real life? Is he paid to troll this site? Such a f'n pathetic individual! Union paid Troll? I am guessing he lives under a bridge with a few pet cats.

Wrong. Even if they’re interests as you say are simply dues related which if true completely this would have been over a while back. The IAM and TWU would have already sold out the Medical and some jobs for higher wages they could scarff up.

IAM dues are a weighted average.

TWU dues are 2 times the hourly rate. So if say TWU got me a $5.00 increase. That increase equals $800.00 for me and $10.00 for the TWU.

Mathematically I think I’m quite ok with that.

No YOU ARE WRONG. The Contract that I'm under is BETWEEN AMERICAN AIRLINES AND The Transport Workers Union of America AFL-CIO

It COVERS AMT's and PM Employees.

The Contract is between them and I do not see your name or mine anywhere on this page IN THE BETWEEN Sentence.

The DUES collection ARE also based on HEADCOUNT as much as Hourly Rates. That is exactly why The Association is opposing more outsourcing because DUES MONEY IS LOST.

Do you feel a personal need to have to enlarge the size of your fonts, use bold and put things in CAPS to gain attention for people to read you?

Otherwise I’m not going to bother to argue this post anyway. It’s mere Hyperbole that I’ve been reading since the first time I ever heard that Unions collected dues anyway.

I have been here for a very long time. I just do not live on here or thrive for attention like you Wheezer. I have a wonderful, happy life outside of Eh Eh… You are truly a pathetic obnoxious individual who needs a "life" partner to fill that sad void in you empty life.

I thought you Blocked me? Guess that didn’t work out too well for you.

The Company has already committed to pay 3% above the top Delta rate and I find it highly unlikely they will lower any of their wage offers if the Association can secure more jobs rather than rushing to chuck them in the trash can which is what you seem to be hoping for with your anxiety.

Buck said with OT the other day that he earned $135,000 last year. Now I don’t know if you work any OT but I’m sure you’re ok for now with your close to $100,000 BASE salary plus benefits that you should be able to chill out at least a little bit longer?

You STILL miss the whole point that Unions are a Business that Represent THEIR INTEREST FIRST and then The membership secondary.

Dues Money is THEIR BUSINESS whether it is in the Form of Higher Wages or Headcount Numbers!

They should at least be issues of more importance than about a dozen or so Social Media bullhorns have tried to make them.

At this moment particularly from what we know publicly I see ZERO reason for the IAM to agree to release anything for their membership to vote on. There group as far as Fleet is being offered a completely concessionary deal against what they already currently have.

Those who think they should accept it anyway for a vote because of the pressure of Section 6 are IMO making assinine comments.

Assinine because they know that there could be a strong possibility with a few tweaks of it passing with purely a TWU vote stepping on IAM Members like they’re a bunch of bugs.

It’s selfish at this moment to even try to push the IAM side to give in and bend over.
So let me get this straight. I'm a TWU guy and i'm squashing the IAM guys like bugs. Funny I just worked on memorial day right next to IAM guys and they are getting double time and a half. I feel there big fat shoe on top of my head!!!

You miss the point that for them to gain that dues money they have to represent YOUR interests first.

Their Business produces no tangibly held products for Consumer purchase.

Higher wages benefit you without me having to explain that to you I hope. And Headcount Benefits you in QOL for better shifts and days off over time.
