I guess no one had their emotional support house pet onboard. If so we would hear how the animal died from lack of oxygen and shock from all the noise, cold air and screaming. They are all extremely lucky that the pilot knew what to do and got 'er down so quickly.
That's because she was a Navy pilot, not easy to land on a short runway that moves! They are all extremely lucky that the pilot knew what to do and got 'er down so quickly.
It was and we followed the recommendations and even exceded them. Now with this we accelerated our engine inspections ahead of any A.D. coming out from the F.A.A. . We will have to wait for the final report on this accident from the N.T.S.B..About a year ago when Southwest had a fan blade break and basically the same thing happened, but with no fatality was there a NTSB report finished yet?
As long as it didn't suffer serious structure issues , it will be repaired. If it had been an 737-300 ,it probably been scrapped. Is that aircraft going to be scrapped or repaired? It looked like its parked next to the damaged US Airbus

Now another cabin window delaminating, no loss of cabin pressure, thank God.
I heard she caught the third cable on landing. That's because she was a Navy pilot, not easy to land on a short runway that moves!
Once they installed the Carrier landing systems for autoland it made it a little easier, but you still have to land the aircraft, hit the deck, and advance the throttles to takeoff in case you miss the wire. She is definitely a better pilot than John McCain who's dad was an admiral, which moved John up through the ranks. He unfortunately almost sank the USS Forrestal CV59 in 1967 when his missile went off on his aircraft on the flight deck. That's why some guys called that ship the USS Forest Fire, not good.I heard she caught the third cable on landing.
