Emb170-sim. Shutdown-pilots Sent Home?

Just heard directly from a MAA pilot in traing that the sim for EMB 170 was decertified by the FAA... sent pilots in training home...Anybody have info on this ?

Saw the same thing posted on the ALPA site - sim shut down because of "software" problems.

Everything I "know" about it is hearsay, but I think the earlier time had something to do with the manuals.

Where are those MidAtlantic guys when we need them???

RIGHT !!!!!!

I recieved a call from a Furloughed F/A today... They just received a Letter from Mid Atlantic... Don't have any further info though......

Another F/A that recieved letter a while ago is still waiting on a Training Date... Guess they have to get all this other crap taken care of first !!!!!
