US Airways says investor will sell 3.05 mln shares

NEW YORK, June 1 (Reuters) - US Airways Group Inc. (LCC.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said stockholder Eastshore Aviation LLC had agreed to sell 3.05 million shares of its common stock in an underwritten secondary offering.
US Airways will not receive any of the proceeds from the offering, the company said. Goldman Sachs acted as the underwriter for the offering.
