That pretty much sums it all up. The currently furloughed people have to be back at work prior to 9/5 in order to get their old pay rates, or they are screwed again. Not very likely that too many can make a decsion and act on it in such a short amount of time.

Here's another question: Assume you were furloughed in 05 and don't accept a position by 9/5/07. Assume a situation becomes acceptable to you on 1/1/2008. Will you go back under the rules you were furloughed under, or the new language that restores your seniority?

I guessing the '05's stay under the bus.
