DL biggest winner if PANYNJ removes LGA perimeter

DL pilot leadership has supposedly been quoted as saying that the lie flat BE configured 757s will be DL's airplane of choice for transcon flights and DL will add flights from LGA to the west coast immediately if the slot perimeter restrictions are removed
Just like the pilots who told you that DL is getting VS' A340s, how did that turnout?

no, they neither said that DL was affirmatively getting A340s any more than I said that.

I said it was a POSSIBILITY.

DL has openly said it considered several used widebody types decided against all of them in favor of the new Airbus aircraft.

and it will also show that the 757 is the right if not only aircraft that can operate with a decent passenger load from LGA to the west coast - and DL has them ready to go now.

on 757 news, supposedly DL has signed a deal for the operation of a number of fairly high time 757s that will be configured in a premium sports configuration, sold to sports franchises, but operated by DL employees. about a dozen aircraft.
DL has also supposedly bought some of the last viable used PW 757s that will be used for parts and possible replacement of a few high time DL 757s that would have to be removed from service in the near future.
